Waiver, Terms & Conditions

Fortified Athlete Summer Basketball Training Academy is operated under Basketball With Life LLC. By registering your child for the Summer Training Academy, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and policies.

Participation & Assumption of Risk

Participation in basketball training involves physical activity that may include running, jumping, strength exercises, competitive drills, and other athletic movements. These activities carry inherent risks of injury.

By registering your child for the Fortified Athlete Summer Basketball Training Academy, you acknowledge and accept that participation involves these risks and voluntarily allow your child to participate.

You agree that Basketball With Life LLC, Fortified Athlete, Coach Nick, and any staff or assistants are not responsible for injuries, accidents, or health complications that may occur during participation.

Parents/guardians affirm that their child is physically able to safely participate in athletic activity.

Outdoor Training Acknowledgment

Fortified Athlete Summer Training Academy takes place primarily outdoors.

Parents acknowledge that athletes will be training in outdoor conditions which may include heat, sun exposure, and normal weather variations.

To maintain safety:

• Water breaks will be provided regularly
• Training intensity may be adjusted depending on weather conditions
• Parents are responsible for ensuring their athlete arrives hydrated and prepared for outdoor activity

Weather Policy

In the event of rain or severe weather, Fortified Athlete will determine whether training can safely continue.

Possible adjustments may include:

• Moving portions of training indoors
• Adjusting the training schedule
• Canceling the session if weather conditions are unsafe

If multiple sessions are canceled due to severe weather, Fortified Athlete may provide training credit toward future sessions or programs at the discretion of the program.

Parent decisions not to attend a session deemed safe by the coach will be considered a forfeited session.

No Refund Policy

All Summer Training Academy registrations are final and non-refundable.

This includes:

• Deposits
• Full payments
• Multi-week registrations

In the event an athlete cannot attend, Fortified Athlete may provide credit toward future training sessions or programs at the discretion of the program.

Athlete Responsibilities

Athletes participating in the Summer Training Academy are expected to:

• Arrive on time and prepared
• Wear proper athletic attire and basketball shoes
• Bring a water bottle and packed lunch/snacks if applicable
• Show respect toward coaches and fellow athletes
• Follow coaching instructions and safety guidelines

Fortified Athlete reserves the right to remove athletes from participation if behavior is disruptive or unsafe.

Medical Acknowledgment

Parents/guardians agree to inform Fortified Athlete of any:

• injuries
• medical conditions
• allergies
• limitations

that may affect participation.

Parents acknowledge that Fortified Athlete staff are not medical professionals and will not administer medical treatment beyond basic first aid if necessary.

Photo & Media Release

By registering for the Fortified Athlete Summer Basketball Training Academy, you grant permission for Fortified Athlete and Basketball With Life LLC to capture photos or videos of athletes during training sessions.

These materials may be used for:

• social media
• marketing materials
• promotional content
• website content

No athlete names or personal information will be shared without permission.

Communication Consent

By providing your phone number and contact information during registration, you consent to receive communications from Fortified Athlete regarding:

• clinic updates
• scheduling information
• weather notifications
• training reminders

Message frequency may vary. Standard messaging and data rates may apply. You may opt out of communications at any time.

Agreement

By registering your child for the Fortified Athlete Summer Basketball Training Academy, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms, Policies, and Waivers.

You further acknowledge that your child will participate under these conditions and agree to support the expectations and culture of Fortified Athlete.
